About Editors Kingston

As the Kingston-area “twig” (small local group) of Editors Canada, we are a community of people who share an interest in editing. All our events are open to both Editors Canada members and non-members.

Our regular monthly meetings feature either a speaker on an editing-related theme or a topic for discussion at which attendees are encouraged to share their knowledge and experience. There is also time for networking and socializing.

We gather on the second Wednesday of the month (September through November and January through May). This has normally been at the Ongwanada Resource Centre, 191 Portsmouth Ave, Kingston, from 7 to 9 p.m. For the foreseeable future, however, we’re meeting on Zoom, same time.

We also host occasional social events and professional development seminars. And we have a Facebook group.

We welcome visitors and new members. Come check us out!

  1. Thanks! I’m an Editor in Chief of a professional CAM Association journal out of Tonroto (CAND Vital Link) half time. I also have a new solo private practice in Kingston, and since this is a lot of solo work, would love to meet some fellow editors. I frequently want to drop my authors on their heads….
